We are the Dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.

~ John McCrae

  1. Beautiful photo! The price of freedom – astronomical doesn’t even touch it – I watched the movie “All my Loved Ones” today. Story of one family’s experience at the onset of WW11 inspired by the real life heroics of Nicholas Winton, an English stockbroker who saved 669 Czech Jewish children from the Nazis.
